Chow Ciao Chow is a Hong Kong artist who falls in love with portraiture paintings.
To Chow, different personas can be expressed in different colours and patterns on the face. Figures in his portraitures are either crying or having the face covered as he believes that tears can wash away people’s sorrow, and eventually flowers will sprout from within.
His lively and colourful drawings and print will be on view in our upcoming exhibition 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔, opens on 20 August, check out more about about the show:
